Blown HT fuse after MV attempt

Post by cobrakaiusa » Fri Oct 12, 2007 1:19 am

Ok here's my story.

I'm messing around trying to put in a PPIMV. I did the Novo-stah one.

I power up and nothing.

I check fuses and HT fuse is cooked.

So I replace fuse, remove MV and put circuit back to how it was originally, check connections and fire it back up.

Now I have a nice loud hum but no volume.Fuse is still intact.

Im looking at power tubes and they look more blue than before. Maybe it is my mind playing tricks?

Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Post some pixs, that we can see, what you've done wrong by accident
