Metro build question - 1/2 watt or 1 watt resistor?

Post by tonepilgrim » Sun Sep 02, 2007 12:40 am

I'm short a 1w 100k CC resistor to install between pins 1, 7, and 6 on v2. However, I do have some 1/2 w resistors laying around. Can I use 1/2 w in that position or should I run to the store?

Thanks.
Brock

1/2 watt should be fine. Usually we have to use 1 watters in the carbon film/metal film resistors simply to get the right "look" since the new resistors are smaller than the old ones.
