I hope that bias pot locks somehow.
Remove the 100pF cap mounted on the V1 socket and check pin 6 voltage again. If the voltage is close to where it should be, that cap is leaking DC and is garbage. You don't really need that cap anyway.

Indeed, that is asking for trouble on the back panel where it can easily be unwittingly moved. I'd have put it on the chassis itself behind the pre-amp tubes rather than the back panel if it really HAD to be outside of the amp.toner wrote:I hope that bias pot locks somehow.
