0.022uf coupling caps (What voltage?)

Can I use 160V 0.022uf coupling caps in my 50W Marshall? or do they have to be 400V 0.022?
Would using 0.033uf 400V make a huge difference??

Really 400v is the minimum in these amps.
You can certainly use 0.039 or 0.033 in the PI (nice compromise between the 0.1s and 0.022s.
I have used 0.018s in some of my amps but selectively after measuring them with my LCR as some of them measure at 0.021uF which to me is fine.
I am not sure about using 0.033s in the rest of the amp. Anyone?

You definitely need 400v caps.
I would suggest sticking with the typical .022uF caps unless your .033uF's are NOS and you really want to try them.
There won't be a big tonal difference between those values in certain spots but I would *guess* that substituting .033 for all of the .022's will add up to a little bit more bass response.
