trying to wire a 120 volt power lamp into the Ceriatone 50 watt Plexi layout...........
I think one side goes to the power switch where the black wire is,
the other side I'm not sure...........................

You can wire it directly to the PT's primary lugs from 0 to 120
But Ceriatone has attached a dangerous layout!
The Hot's always have to go to the tips of the fuse holders, the Cold's go away from the fuse holder's side! On the layout it's drawn exactly the opposite!

do you mean that the two wires to the mains fuse need to be swaped and same thing to the other fuse.....

That's what I've said!
Imagine what happens, when you want to change the mains fuse, but you haven't removed
the AC cord from the wall and also not from the amp.
You're holding the fuse holder cap with a new fuse in it, one finger is touching the metal
threat. Now you try to fiddle in the fuse, while the other end of the fuse is touching the side lug
inside the fuse holder (where in this case the L from the AC inlet is connected to)
- and your other hand is resting on the amp's chassis...
... any further questions?

Or, if you are using a double pole mains switch, you can just hook the lamp up to the on side of the switch along with the wires going to the PT primary.
