Hi guys,
My 50w kit amp I built about 6-7 years ago is acting up. When I play through it, the output is low and it sounds fizzy. Heres an example: https://soundcloud.com/nikarc/mvi-8649. I tried changing out the preamp tubes just in case, as they were the originals, but no luck. If anyone could help me on where to start diagnosing this problem, I'd be super greatful. Thanks!

The next step would be to try a new set of power tubes. Make sure they are properly biased.
