Finished it up about a week ago and couldn't be more blown away! Huge thanks to the contributors on this incredible forum for the inspiration and education I've received here. What a resource, really...thank you!
Marstran chassis and transformers, including Brian's 50W version of the C1998 Dagnall clone OT.
ValveStorm for most other components, faceplates, etc.
Brian H turret board.
Larry Ground scheme, and a LarMar PPIMV.
I used separate preamp filter caps on the board and altered the layout to give each one its own turret for grounding to their respective Larry grounding points. It's pretty close to '68 type specs, and running EH6CA7's.
The headbox is a custom small box ordered from Bob at Sourmash. I needed it a little narrower than stock to fit properly on top of my Marshall 2x12 slant cab and it turned out great.

Looks great !
I have also bought a Marstran "50W Dagnall" but it's still sitting in its box.
I see your cab is already mic'ed up, how about a few soundclips ?

You still haven't gotten around to changing that OT out, lol!? I found in a thread you were planning on swapping it into your converted 4104 right? Be interesting to get your before/after impressions on the OT swap when you do it.
Yep, I'm planning to get some clips up soon...

I have (at least) 4 amps to work on before I can take the time to swap trannies on my "4104". Don't know when that'll be but I hope it'll be worth the wait ! lolTWANGGG wrote: You still haven't gotten around to changing that OT out, lol!? Re: S.I.R. 100W SuperLead Schematic pt. II
Hi, I'd like to ask opinions or advise from anyone using the C1998 50watt clone OT. (I'm waiting on a quote from Brian on having 1 wound as he's outta them). I'm in the component ordering phase for a 50 watt SIR #39/36 type build & am thinking this might be a better OT to use than the 784-139 in this application. Any thoughts or input appreciated. Cheers
