1987 REISSUE PT
Any one know where I can find the specs on the stock PT in theese amps or the color codes for the wires?

Depends what year you mean. Here are the wiring colours for the 164 'stand up type'.
I have a Marstran replacement PT in my '69 and I believe that it is spot on.
The lay down type is also available.

What is the problem?
Usually feed from mains->mains fuse->mains switch->common feed primary on PT (usually black). You can use a SPST or a DPST switch with the wires passed through to each side.
The other primary wires go to selector switch with neutral to centre of selector switch.
The standby has two wires (ususally blue) with ac onto each side of DPST switch. The out goes to the diodes.
