Pickup wiring question.
Would I need to re-orient any magnets to make a DiMarzio Super Distortion work with a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder? I don't know if north and south orientations make a difference whether or not they would be in phase when used together. Help?

Re: Pickup wiring question.
I can't recall how dimarzio's are oriented exactly, but I don't remember having any issues other than having to wire one or the other differently to normal.
However, I normally wire Seymours with the green as hot, and the black as ground, as when I coil split, I like my OUTER coils to be the ones working. Inner coils on their own just sound so "blah" to me.
Perhaps this link might help if you do have issues...
