Hi all,
I've got this PT from Marstran but there is no information about it wiring diagram on his site. I would like to know if somebody has this PT and it color codes.
Thanks a lot.

I know it won't help you wire it today (I think Brian was going to Florida for ToneFest?) but he was always very helpful when I would e-mail him with questions regarding the 1202-84 output tranny clone I got from him. E-mail him for the colors, he'll get back to you.

Take a look to this link:

http://www.marstran.com/Wiring%20Diagrams.htm

and scroll down to the last schematic. Maybe this is yours?

Yep, i know this link and i didn't find the pt. This is a 100w pt. I identify the 3.15v tap and like i'm an european, i have to use the 220v or 230v (red wire). In fact i'm searching the com wire :s

Does your PT have all those colours as seen on this schematic?

If so, then in Europe you have to use the orange (common) and the blue (230V) wire for the primaries, if your wall voltage is 230 volts.

The secondary's commons are the yellow (HT's center tap), the white (bias) and a bigger gauged green (heater's center tap) wires.

The remaining 2 bigger gauged wires (colour not specified in the schematic) are for the heaters.

there is this colors in primary :
- red (220v)
- yellow (240v or com?)
- black (100v)
- brown (120v)
- white (???)
But i'm not sure.

You can see it (with my OT) at this link but strangely, there is no white wire :

Well ! I've the diagram and i'd routed the good wires. Now i'm testing my amp and there is no voltage from preamp tube and output tube socket (3.15vac). My transformer is dead? :s
Thx

Hey Ben,

Shoot me an email and I'll help you out as much as I can. The diagram wasn't posted yet as it is a new transformer with new primary voltages.
