That's funny, it looks exactly like the transformer in this auction
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Marshal ... 257681fd83
Anyway, as mentioned, the plexi era ones have cloth covered secondaries. I believe there were some later ones made with out that though. ( I have one on a 73ish master PA so I know they exist )
However, I don't think there's enough info from these pics to identify it. (although it is obviously a c1998 type (either someone's clone or original))
Any remnants of stickers or anything? Any more history that goes with it? Can anyone identify what era or model that yellow non-shrunk shrinkwrap would be from if any?

lol ya that is the one hes putting it on ebay, if I do buy it from him he said hes gonna take it down but of course it will probably be bought the exact second i tell him yes lol but the only other things I saw on it was that all wires were solid core and the coils on the inside that have been covered with the paper says 100w ot but other than that I will put some more pics up and thats the only other thing I can really say
and of course you can see on top of it were those stickers that were put on them that always fell off was their once sooooooo

On top on the laminates? or on the end bells? I can't see anything in the 2 pics. If so, what size stickers?hotshot9911 wrote:and of course you can see on top of it were those stickers that were put on them that always fell off was their once sooooooo

If they are really long rectangular stickers on the laminates about 1 cm tall and 3 or 4 cm long, then that would point to Heyboer, who makes quality replicas (Metro and Marstran both use Heyboer)
An actual dagnal sticker would have been much smaller like an old school price tag, much more squareish, and on the endbell.
Unless it's one of their newer ones and then it's a large 1" by 2 or 3" sticker placed neatly and precisely on the lams somewhere.
