Early Transformer Mounting Hardware

I am looking for early laydown transformer mounting hardware for my 69 build. Mcmastercarr has m5 screws and nuts. I have been looking at amp archives to try and select proper hardware. I am having a hard time telling if there is a washer under the head of the screw. Some builds seem to have them and others do not.

Any of you guys that actually have the real deal please comment if you can. Does yours have a washer under the head and nut?

Alright Cheese head M5 x 55mm screws but what type of plating. The old ones do not look like stainless to me. I am having a hard time finding nice zinc ones. Not sure if the originals were zinc.
