One question about the Power Brake...

Post by Ralle » Fri Oct 28, 2011 11:29 am

Hey guys.
Lokking at the 8 ohm resistor + 1 mH inductor:
If I removed the inductor ( L1 ), wound it be wrong for the load? Is the inductor a part of the load, and needs to be calculated into the load?

I took a quick look at it. It seems that the inductor acts as some sort of filter for the load?
Why would you want to remove it?

I would like to see if the load changes without the inductor in this particular circut...would the load in the powerbrake still be the same ( I know that the highs will go away, but that's not the point here )... Can I still use it the same way, without any adjustments?
