Hi folks,
Is it a problem running 5 preamp tubes and 4x EL34 / 6550 with a Dagnall T2562 clone (Marstran in this case) ?
Thanks for your reply
Dom

Re: PT current handling
Brian only said that it's rated for 6A on the heaters.
When looking at tube datasheets you have 1.6A for SED EL34, 1.65A for SED 6550 and 0.3A per ECC83.
So in standard application (3 preamp tubes) you have arround 7-7.5A on the heaters anyway.
The JCM800 2210 has 5 pre amp tubes, but the JCM800's PT also have a thicker lamination when looking at my friend's 2203.
