The PT that was in the amp was a Drake 1202-118. All the Drake trx I have seen have the model number printed on them. This hasn't, does that mean it's a Dagnall ? It doesn't look like a C1998 though ans as it's the only Dagnall I have...

Hi Bill,

It appears you have a 50W Marshall Plexi amp so it is likely that it is either a Drake 784-128 (1967) or Drake 784-139 (1967 to about 1972). Why does it not have a marking?...I don't know. These two Drake output transformers generally matched up with the Drake 1202-118 power transformer from 1967 to about 1972.

Thx for your help.
I forgot to mention that the amp on the pic is a 100W Carlsbro.
That's all I know so far.

The 139 was in production much longer than 1972.

I do know that Carlsbro used the Drake 784-213 in the 50W amps but I'm not sure what the 100W amps would have.

Thanks for the input.
Here's a pic of another Carlsbro amp, a CS60 combo :

Still doesn't explain why the tranny in the first three pics has no marking.
