JTM 45 RS DE-LUXE OT – 16 OHM-8 OHM SWITCH

Post by BLOOZE » Mon Jul 18, 2011 6:59 am

JTM 45 RS DE-LUXE OT - M e r r en Audio -
- 16 OHM-8 OHM SWITCH -

I will use my jtm45 with a single 8ohm H75 scumback speaker and 6l6 or kt66 valves.

I have read somewere that the first jtm45 s OT were wired for 16 ohm and the two 16 ohm speakers were wired for 8ohm.

Has anybody wired to switch (or just two speaker jacks ) between 16 and 8ohm like on my drawing.
(rs deluxe ot with turrets is from m e r r en audio)

version1
turret B is- for 16ohm
and
turret C is- for 8ohm

the way to switch from 16 to 8 ohm is from chris, hope my drawing is correct.

Is the wiring for 8ohm (on my drawing) on the left really the same as on the right side. Sound wise and physically.

Any thoughts……….

Thank you
