It may well be.
Most of the OE Dagnalls I have seen have the little square white sticky labels with black writing, from that era and more recently too. The replacements seem to be the ones with the red stamps.
As Brian says in his post the really early ones had no number, mid 70's a T number.
Have you looked inside? I have seen some where the code and date are on the winding.
Have you tried a post on Brian's forum?
