How to tell if PT is original or repro?
I have a 1970 JMP50 and I'm trying to find out if the Drake Power transformer I have in it is original or a repro. The code is model #1202-118. It's a UK amp, got it from over there. Most of the caps and resistors are original, the OT and Choke are as well. The only thing that's been changed out is the diode rectifier, which blew on me about a year ago.

Here's some pictures, I know the power supply's been rewired, that was disaster when I first got the amp, where a tech tried to rewire the whole power supply when the diode rectifier blew on me, until I finally took it to matt wells in new york and he fixed it right up.

The bell cover is new and the wiring is obviously too.
The corrosion, the nothced laminations and the type double eyelet lugs and the layout of the lugs look very much like an original Drake 1202-118 which is the correct type of laydown PT for a 50watt Marshall.
But it is missing the ring that covers the extra holes you see in the chassis and the black plastic side cheeks holding the windings in place are not correct.
Summary, replaced PT. You could tidy it up with a correct cover and a ring that covers those holes
here is one of mine:

where can I get one of those covers like you have there? I looked on the internet and I didn't find one.

The black plastic side cheeks are the bobbin sides (hold the copper windings in place. You can see the one in my amp does not have them, yours has black plastic bits sticking out (at aleast I think so).
That picture is before i tidied all the orange paint off, tidied up the switch wiring and removed the plastic cable ties and re-laced the loom, I will take some more pics when I reopen up to check the bias after some proper testing
