Mercury Mag Tranny Recommendations
Hi guys. Looking for your honest opinions on which MM power tranny to buy. I have a 67/68 Marshall style 100W clone WITHOUT the dual voltage 12xxx switch. Basically build to the exact factory specs with 90% NOS parts. I know Georges 12xxx has approx 495V in full voltage mode. Was kicking around the MP100-68 460V B+ unit. Wondered is anyone has tried it and if you have any other opinions on different options. Thanks in advance.

What I like about the MM is the 10year warranty, but people will argue that Haybor are that much better and I agree with them. None of those classic amp's that people are trying to clone had MM tranies. Haybor wounds the tranies to era correct spec's I hear, or ask Brian the godfather of tranies.
