O100JM Tone Clone Chassis holes don't match?

Post by wrea398 » Thu Dec 09, 2010 11:24 am

I have a 67-68 chassis from Metroamp and just received my Tone Clone O100JM tranny. The installation holes dont line up. The chassis holes are narrow and when bolts are installed on one side, the other two brackets cover up the holes. Any others have the same issue? I just hate drilling out holes etc. Thanks!

MM, Heyboer and British made trannies do have different end bells and different foot prints.
It's impossible, to make a chassis, where they all fit. This would require holes of 3/4 inch dia. and mounting washers of 2 inch dia.

The fault almost always is sitting in front of the amp

Yup they don't fit. I had to drill holes on mine. It's not too bad just make marks with a Sharpie and go to town :)
