Dagnall Output Transformer Identification

Hi,
I'm looking for information about the output transformers used in Marshall JMP super lead and super bass models from 68-76. Did Marshall use more than one type of Dagnall during these years? If so, when did the changes take place in the amps? Which model is preferred, and how do I identify it?
Thanks,
I.T.

The Dagnall OT used late 67 to 1970 was a C1998. It does not have any marks to identify it although they do have 'self leads' for the secondaries with coloured cloth insulation. If you llok here you can see mine being dissected by Brian Wallace prior to rewinding:

The later OT has the same coloured wires and looks the same but has normal wires for the secondaries. I have a mid 70's one and it has a number C2373) on a label inside the tranny.

Cool link and very helpful information. Most of the JMPs I've encountered have lost the ID stickers on the trannys, but I have seen a '76 Super Lead (6550) with the c2373 sticker. Also, I have seen the cloth secondary leads in a '68 Super Bass. At this point, I am aware of 3 different Dagnall 100w output transformers. Not exactly sure how they differ in terms of technical and sonic characteristics. Not sure why Marshall opted to use the different models in their amp production.
c1998 late 60s
c2668 early 70s
c2373 mid 70s

Me too! Just waiting on shipping back to me, I think the winders have been on a go slow

.
Brian Wallace has been really helpful and as soon as I have it returned to me I will report back
