Dagnal color codes
Does anyone know what color wires on a Dagnal 100 watt transformer in a Marshall Super Lead are suppose to be used using 120 V? I'm in the process of putting one of George's PTP's in and want to make sure which wires are correct.
I saw a while back a post related to this, but seem to have a hard time finding. Thx

Did you get the Cd with your kit, it has spec's schematic's, tranny info etc? Best of luck with your build!

Thanks. I have looked at the disc and though I have seen the schematics and pics, they are mostly of other brands of PT's. I'd really like a definitive answer concerning the color codes for the primary/secondary for the Dagnall PT model T3556 in my '74 Marshall SL. If I'm overlooking that info on the disc, please correct me.

Just go to the putfile page and right-click on the image. Then copy the Address or Location. Then, in your forum message, click "Img", paste the copied image location and click "Img" again.JMPMAN wrote:BTW, I'm still trying to figure out how to post the image so that you can see it in the post......
The code will look like:
Code: Select all

You can also copy the "BB" code from the putfile text box below the image and paste it directly into your message to make a clickable thumbnail.

Thanks Toner
Though I'm still confused when comparing mine to Mark's pics. Some of the primary wires I recognize, but others I don't. I'd rather know for sure before I start wiring stuff up. Right now it seems to be one big glob of wires, I might just redo the whole wiring of it, but still need a little more info before I do. Which is not to say that you guys have not been helpful already
