Mercury Magnetics O100JM-SL question

i am about to wire the impatence switch and the Brown ,Black, Yellow and Green wires all have to two leads and there is nothing in the instrustions for 100w kit about this what do i do? twist them together or cut one off?? help :(

You must not twist it, but you have to solder each both together to the selector's lug, otherwise the secondary will be interrupted!

I am curious to understand why not to twist the secondary OT wires? I've many speaker cabinets with the inside wires twisted for the speaker hook ups.
