Help with OPT and Solder

Hey G man whats up with the 40 gauage wire on the opt to the impedance no solder will take hold lol what do i need to use anyone? Do I need somwthing other then regualar solder any help would be appreciated

Some output trannies have shellac on the leads that has to be scraped off before solder will stick.

Thanks Never seen anything like this, and of course In new lol rook, so just scrap her up and she will be ok

Often the shellac is reddish in color and easier to spot. But scrape at them with a utility knife blade and you'll know if they're shellaced.
