I wonder if someone can explain.
When I try to upload pictures from my Photobucket I get the message need to be less than 722 pixels wide even though these pics have been uploaded to this site before at this size without problem.
Some I have resized and sometimes the problem does not happen. Why?

you have to resize them so that either side of them do not exceed 722pixels.neikeel wrote:I wonder if someone can explain.

You can resize them in Photobucket, but it takes a while for the Metro software to "recognize" that the photo has been resized, so you may not be able to embed your Photobucket image for a while after resizing.

Yes I get that bit - going forwards on a newer site/host that happens, but why does it still show pics that I took ages ago on old threads (with bigger pictures) on the site but if I try to refer to the same picture on a new thread at the same size it rejects them as too big?rockstah wrote:you have to resize them so that either side of them do not exceed 722pixels.neikeel wrote:I wonder if someone can explain.

maybe it has to do with a script for the site that is now written on new additions as far as pictures added to posts?
thats my guess.
