Well, when you play on the East Coast and the bars close at 4am it pretty much is breakfast by the time you break down, load out and wait for the fukin owner to cough up your take before you make it to the diner.

Right, fill, Billy, carly???

Great news, George. Sounds like you're getting a handle on it.

You're on the right track, George, with frequent small meals, not just for your blood sugar, but also for your cholesterol and blood pressure:

George, hope you're feeling better. I saw that you guys were talking about hot sauce. Dexter Holland from The Offspring has his own brand he created with his kids nanny. http://www.gringobandito.com/

do you think there might be a relation between low blood sugar and solder? Mark Camerobn called me a couple days ago.. He has had low blood sugar levels to the point where he doesnt have the energy to even get up. Interesting innit?

Maybe. Fumes definitely make things worse when my glucose starts dropping. I hope Mark gets leveled off. I can attest to that feeling of not being able to get yourself up and do anything. It sucks terribly.

I will say that I'm feeling much better these days. I do have a crash once in a while. But not every mid-morning like I was having. I'm taking suppliments everyday with breakfast. And antioxidants as well. The recipe is working for me.

I take a multi vitamin, the anti oxidants, a D3 (the sunshine vitamin) and a B12 lozenge for energy.

Hey a tip you might try George is Drinking Grapefruit juice immediately after dinner or before dinner and any other meal like Bkfst and lunch drink a glass of white grapefruit juice. Read some studies on this and Grapefruit juice has some magical properties for controlling blood glucose. It works! At least for me it does. I tried it and sure nuff it works. I would damn near be out of commission after meals and all through the day. The grapefruit juice helped tons. Try it! You got nuthin to loose and Grapefruit juice is cheap.

Just don't do this if you're taking any statins, especially Lipitor for lowering cholsterol. Grapfruit and grapefruit juice has a weird reaction with Lipitor that can cause severe muscle problems.

that's correct! I just figured George wasn't on any other type of meds. But Grapefruit juice is powerful stuff. If George is on some meds he might want to consult his doc or RN. In all those videos and pics I seen of George, he looks like a healthy thin feller so I figured he is good to go. Again if your on meds consult your doc or knowledged RN. More often than not the RN knows more than the doc if they graduated from a USA school.

Not on any meds. Just the same old mantra "diet and exercise".

Hi George,
I just joined but I wanted to say that I went through what sounds like a similar thing. I went to 12 specialists at my HMO and nobody could find the answer for me. I finally regained my health through herbs/suppliments/diet, what it sounds like you're doing. I did see an alternative health doc too, that helped a lot.
Hypoglycemia is hell! Pure hell. You feel like you're dying. I know it can totally jack up your life. I had hypocglycemia with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and I was so jacked I couldn't work at all.

Researching on the net is a big help. Do a little research on 'Adrenal Fatigue', if your adrenals need support your blood sugar will be a mess (diet can help some, but the adrenal hormones keep your blood sugar from going too low). If that's your problem taking some adrenal suppliments will fix you up quick.

Always remember that even if your regular doc tells you they can't fix it, or whatever, there's always an answer. Usually you have to search it out yourself. My HMO docs told me to go home and die, they couldn't help me. Now I'm back to full health, but it took alternative medicine to do it.

God bless!
Matt
