I'm not really happy with the FX loop in my 4210 combo - there are two major problems:
Firstly, the Marshall FX loop levels seem wrong for my pedalboard and it's it a bit of a struggle to get it work without overloading the FX return - I need to use an Alesis EQ to reduce the signal level / change impedance so that it works.
Secondly the Marshall FX loop is pre reverb - which is not ideal - the reverb should be after most of the FX in the loop.
(A third niggling problem is that the FX loop is after the Master Volume - but I seem to be stuck with that as the normal channel and the boost channel join at the MV pot!!

I'd like to install a Zero-Loss FX loop just after the MV so that it's before the reverb circuit. I hope I can do it without having to cut tracks on the PCB... that might be one step too far for me - but I am happy to unsolder caps or resistors carefully.

Would the Zero-Loss FX loop work well at this location? Anyone tried this?
