I still use CEP2 too. I have all the other major programs but just for plain recording and mixing tracks without all the bells and whistles I love CEP.

What exactly comes with guitar port? Its just a simple USB I/O for guitar? The only reason I never looked at that and only considered the UX2 was the mic pre's.

Ive been playing with this thing all evening and it is by far the coolest toy Ive owned. Not only do I get all the PODxt and BassPODxt sounds (teh bass is pretty good really), and all the effects, but lots of preamp models of what I assume are different outboard and consol pres like a Neve strip and Avalon etc... Tube compressors all that jazz. Im having fun with it. I recorded some acoustic and I think it sounds very decent.

dont forget to get all the amp packs and effects - you will own every amp and effect from line 6 if you have them all.- the only difference is that the vetta can run two amps at once.

glad yer diggin it. :)

Its basicaly teh Guitarport thing just with more input output options for recording things other then guitar. I think it does come stock with more models in all catagories though. The Line6 packs are actually pretty expensive.

Its just a simple solution to playing and recording at home with no amps and no volume. But you can record actual amps with it. And vocals and all that jazz.
