Post by johniss0001 » Sun Nov 12, 2006 8:33 am

ok guys i reckon you are gonna call me a traitor for getting this but i am in student accomo and i can't crank marshalls anymore and i need something to record with. i purchased a line6 guitar port and i have to say for what it is i am impressed no modern junk digital wise has impressed me like this. ok it has a gd AC/DC sound to it well i am only messin about and i have a perfect skynyrd slide tone as far as technology goes. i would never use this thing in a live situation well i might if i were usin some1 else's transistor gear.

A guy at work has this and can't stop talking about it. I'm still in the '60s technology wise, not for me, but sounds like a cool tool if you are into PCs and the new technology.

Funny seeing this thread. I just bought a UX2 off ebay today. I like toying withg the sounds in a PODxt sound engine as much as anybody and I needed a simple way to record clips. I have access to some decent mic's after all and I have no good way to record bass so for $120 it solves those problems cheap. Im glad so many here feel its worth it. Hell its only $120. Money well spent if it does as much as an xt and has good USB recording capabilities and decent (if not great) mic pre's.
