Metro Jam

Post by St August » Sat Aug 05, 2006 9:22 pm

I was thinking why dont we have a Metro Forum Jam..
Youve built'em or bought em so lets hear'em!!!

Im sure everybody remembers the Dio song We're Stars where you have a bunch of different guitar players doing solos.. well I sat down and did a version of it in its simplest form so we all can Jam to it... if everyone who wants to particpate will keep there parts to 12 measures we can squeeze alot of different solos into this... you can send more that one 12 measure segment if you want but i cant promise they will all get on there so let me know if you are interested 8)

P.S you dont have to own a Metro to do this a Marshall or any tube amp will do!

just in case you forgot it

remember do your own....

Does sound like fun....if I can get a decent mic placement on my amp!!!

As for the video, when was the last time anyone packed that much hair and macho posturing into one studio? I am choking on the hairspray fumes from here.

You didn't answer the question.........

I don't care about competing, I'll tell everyone up front that it's not in my usual style so you better expect some hard blues ala Angus Young or Gary Moore.........besides, as soon as Mark posts a clip we're all sunk anyway.

Twenty years ago I was into that stuff more though. Still sounded more like Angus or Slash or something even then. I should dig up an old show we taped when I was 19, had a ripper of an improvised solo on Ride On.......

I'd like to give it a go, but you'd have to wait about a week for my guitar to be finished being repainted to get my part :x
