Play us some LED ZEPPELIN II...!
The Lemon Song... Bring It On Home... What Is and What Should Never Be!
Some of the best rock bass guitar on that LP, IMO...

Sweet setup! What's that stand you have for the Fender combo? Looks better than just using the chrome legs...

Love those tilt legs on Fenders ! They were on my Bassman piggy-back and are on my Super, too.garbeaj wrote:Sweet setup! What's that stand you have for the Fender combo? Looks better than just using the chrome legs...
Trying to gain as much advantage in Live tone as possible frequencies play a major part in cutting through. Tilting or leaning back or having it on wheels or sporting it on an ordinary stand you will loose Bass frequencies.
I liked the concept of The Enhancer so, I built one:
Looks like there are many designs that others have done.

One can see how it takes an open-back combo and redirects sound back around to the front.
They all have a specific "throw". Even one's that are "open" design that are more of a stand; but still have a sound reflector. The one I built hits the audience more at a distance than having the entire sound directly on stage with everyone else.
I admit it is awkward to gig with, but It's great for rooms since you never really have to move it. Might as well keep you Tone, man ? !

Keep playin' that beat, I'll be right up there with a 12-string and some tequila to go with those Xochitl chips!
Green sparkles, indeed!!!
