How to get that breathiness on your NI B4.

Some of you may be into the old rock recording music. No rock song is complete without a little Hammond B3 action goin on. Well there was no sub for the real thing. The NI B4 get's close but lacks the breathiness that a real B3 has. Well I figured out how to get it and now I got dead on real B3 tone. If you combine the NI B4 with the UAD effect Plate 140 the Plate 140 reverb you get the breathiness that software B3 doesn't get that the real B3 gets. I was hunting down a real B3 to buy but I was dickin around with my softsynths and stumbled up this technique. I like it enough to stop looking to buy a real B3.

Another note: If you guys haven't already gotten a UAD card, your really missing the boat. I got the SPL transient designer recently and am floored!!!!!!!!!!! It helped me get that thumpy punchy 60s rock bass sound. Like on the song by Steppenwolf "Don't step on the grass sam" or "Magic carpet" or like on the Song "carry on" "wooden ships" "Suite judy blue eyes" by CSNY.

Gotta get you a UAD!
