Indigo-io sound card

Can anyone here give me some insight how to start recording, I was doing the podxt live. I have my marshall all put together and want to post some clips of her she is a monster!! Here is what I have maybe one of ya can chime and help me out

Dell lap top Maxed dual2.1G chip, 2 gig ram,windows vista
Sound card Im using Indigo-io pcmia card which I have been told they are great?
Software sonar 4 Home studio Fla studio, pro guitar sonar3.0
Just picked up Sm57

I was recording but using the podxt live pretty easy plug and play but I want to get that SM57 to cab in the mix post some marhall clips!

can't you just record into sonar & export to mp3 file? check out a site like soundclick.com you can upload to them & post a link on metro.

Well you will need a Mic pre. you got to have something to plug the 57 into
..

Hardwood floors going in Saturday in the control room Im in the middle of the Vocal booth and some minor drywall and painting to do in the live room..
Not to far from being 100%.... I'll post pics when I get the contol room floor
in...

Yes we are Ive got a few Ideas going but nothing concreate but if you got something already working I sure would like to hear it.. Jimi is coming into town Next weekend.. Maybe I can bust his chops into doing his here....

i've just been trying to get a decent guitar sound to recording for quite some time. i refuse to use a damn emulator! talk to you soon bro

Thxs or all the replys Im gettign a different or better sound card mixer so I can plug that sm57 and will post here soon if i ever stop buildling lol Im hooked
