Any one seen this? Its a tube powered 6L6 monoblock amp fed by your amps speaker line. Designed specifically for "reamping". Little over $600 bones.
I find this interesting. He has built great power amps that are well respected among the pro community.
I think a new era of reamping amps is the next craze/faze for tone.

Friedman told me it is awesome, better than any attenuator. Should be interesting.

Reading through the manual it states it can only use 6L6's.
I marvel at how compact it is and wonder exactly how it could load an amp AND run tubes both makin heat in the same enclosure
Seems it would replace my Keurig coffee maker almost
But for $600 bones a load box AND power amp is one hell of a deal. I am fighting with myself here.

I wonder how loud those 50WRMS watts are? Silly question but that would be my only concern.

But this looks awesome and I am going to keep an eye out for reviews. Thanks dirtycooter for posting this! :o

I have a feeling the price will get stupid after its initial launch if its titties. Because its cheaper than good or regarded attenuators.
It will have to go up or attenuators will have to come down.
And yeah 50watts is crazy plenty power.

Do you think an eq will be needed with this device to shape the tone? It would be nice not to use one finally. It seems like when you slave an amp it always seems that you need some mids sucked out. Like with my Rivera Rock Crusher.

I think he has optimized the weird bumps out probably. But it would be nothing to jam one in the chain here in its loop. You really use something clean quiet and better spec like a rack type e.q. for really crazy shaping.
Still confused on its line out though. Is the line out off of the units speaker send?? Because you would want it to be congruent in a w/d set up. I am thinkin you'd still may need a seperate LO box depending where he has it tapped from. Sounds like he has some speaker simmed type of deal on the lineout which is not needed unless your goin direct to FOH.
This thing has me really jacked up though. Kinda exciting but its gonna be awhile before we see or hear something and its givin me anxiety
You know how you get the poopy chopped off treble with conventional loads? That presence knob is gonna have a nice range to trim it up and in I think. And the bottom has the same available. So I am stoked

Awesome! They say how long the wait to get it? Or is it flying out the door as we speak? Because it sounded like it was gonna be a slow deal on order type of thing for the release.

Can someone school a dummy on how this thing works and what it does. I`ve got a Splawn Quick Rod with a delay in the loop and a clean boost up front. What would this Fryette gadget do for me ?
