Without being able to post pics , entire forum is sucking some serious ass.

if you dont have your own space to host pics, upload them to http://www.imgur.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and link to them. free.

You can use this format when making your posts. The url points to where you are taken when you click on the image (usually a larger version of the image)
The img point to the image that is displayed on the forum (smaller version of the image so that it)

The code above is shown embedded below. To get this from imgur:
Locate the image
Click Embed
Click on large thumbnail (bottom of Image Links area)
Copy the Linked BB Code to your post

When you click on this smaller image, you are taken to imgur to see a larger image. WHen you click on that image, you get an even bigger one.

Thank you for the info. This forum will operate that way now, links only....no uploads. I may still be able to put many uploads for old posts back online. But, only after they have been scanned and are known to be malware code free. It's killing me that all those great diagrams and images are missing, I'll do whatever I can.

While I have you, permissions got dumped in the server take down. As a result, I am the only mod now. I'm planning to keep it that way for the time being. I want to be more hands on and see if the EVH sections can function without all the bickering and hostility. If not, I'll just lock it and be done. I don't need it and it serves me no purpose. I'd hate to see this great community defined and avoided due to arguments about how to get the brown sound. The tone is incredible and the impact on rock music is undeniable. But, let's not resort to threatening each other if someone disagrees about a cap value or something. It's beyond trivial when you look at the bigger picture.

Really and truly, the only thing worth arguing over is whether or not the brown NOISE is real:

Still not sure why George doesn't have that built-in to his 12,000 SuperLeads. Seems like an obvious feature to add. Maybe on another push-pull pot?
