Ed Footage - Eruption / Oakland 1978

Post by zeeb » Sat Jan 07, 2006 1:38 pm

Hi all --

Havent been around these parts in awhile --- saw the new Ed section & thought this should be included - its some b&w footage of Ed (& Dave) in Oakland 1978.

Not sure if it originally came via the George & The Metroboards, or PlexiPalace, but its always worth sharing with anyone who may not have seen it (beware - the file is about 38meg);

cheers to john gray if wherever you are!

enjoy.

That is a cool clip...in fact I don't believe I've heard one from the first tour where the quality was that good.

Now if only they would release the full show of Oakland '81...loved the tone he got in the Unchained video from that show.
Why is it we can remember where all the wires go, but can never find a pick?

It is sad indeed. At least Jeff Beck can still come out and rip your face off with his playing as he keeps getting better and better.
