Anyone have sound clips of Gearges 12 series plexi?

Hey does anyone have any soundclips of a 12000 Metro Amp plexi (doing VH tone preferably)? Or any of the other Metro amps (other SL specs or reissues with PTP board etc) doing VH style stuff?

I don't have unfortunately. And I can't make any until the new chassis arrive and I build one, or until George sends the prototype back.

I sold all of the early style aluminum chassis.

I do have the first proto of a 12 series that I made. But there are a lot of changes since that amp. Maybe I'll fire it up tomorrow and see how it sounds.

VHoholic-careful what you ask for. I might send you one to do a review for over at Harmony Central....

Now, how many other "reviewers" do we have here???

Hey i think you should send one to VHoholic to make sound clips and review with. Out of all the ''internet guitar players" Vhohlic is the best one ive heard.

Then again, VHoholic is a better option, I guess. I don´t really play like EVH and probably never will.

Me either. That's why it makes sense to have other people play the EVH style clips.

I'll stick to the ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin type stuff.

I'd be happy to do some EVH clips for you George once I've bought my Metroamp Dagnall clone OT, so you'll be able to say the amp is kitted out with Metroamp parts in all the important places that affect the sound.

yes Ralle.. i hear a bunch of people playing vh - ralle comes closest in sound a especially technique vholic is good indeed but ralle is ed IMHO

I agree, Vholic tone is a hair to stiff, maybe he could reduce some filtering somewhere, playing is very close also but 500 is 99.98% on
