that's true. 2 of 8 speakers are V30s and one of them is mic'd on the right side. i chose that for the high frequencies needed for the right side clarity. the right side is quieter and has a lot of presence so they fit the bill well for that role.

So the V30s have frequencies beyond that 5k cliff dive?

The V30s don't break up as quickly and therefore don't distort as much in this rig setup. Especially if you're using a slave setup. I'm using a Rivera Rockcrusher.

For those that don't know, Kevin built me an amp a year ago custom spec'ed to the WACF tone and sounds awesome.

If I had any recording experience at all, I would have posted clips already.
