Nice, glad it's worked out for you... what was your previous set up? didn't you used to run a classic 50 poweramp for slaving?

Does look good, wonder if they'll do an el34 swap out.

I have been slaving since about 2005.i have a home made load box with the Friedman spec line level out..I have tried slaving through another plexi front end, another plexi power amp only,a peavey 5152 power amp section,a marshall 9000 power amp,a peavey classic 120/120 power amp,a evh 5153 power amp section and a matrix 1500 solid state power amp.

So does it feel like nothing is interferring like plugging directly into one head?
Are you able to get feedback ala jimi hendrix and get that interaction between the guitar and cab?
This is good news from you so far.

I need more time to play with it,but my initial reaction is that Im getting a better tone slaving with this than I have with everything else I have tried.

I don't really know much about that amp,and what it sounds like cranked, but the attenuated sound was no different than any other attenuator I have heard. The Clean tones sounded good, however, when the amp was cranked I heard that attenuated sound that I'm so familiar with. Can you attenuate the amp and use the power amp at the same time. I little confused about that.

I am trying to completely understand what this does. I think that the "attenuator" is just the amp loaded down and reamped through the 50 watt power amp. So, it really isn't a true attenuator, is it? If it were, there would be an "attenuator" out and a "power amp" out.

It is just a all enclosed reamping device. Unless I am completely missing something. I also don't get how it can be a wet/dry with only one set of "outs". To do wet/dry you would need another power amp to power effects or another power amp to be dry.

Yes exactly rgorke. But if your not using the internal load for your main head it can be used as a seperate power amp as well for w/d.
When used as attenuator/reamp deal it also has a mono f x loop for a single cab-delay, eq, etc

Try it with something in the loop... I tried the BOSS GE-10 and the TSR-24(reverb, etal), and the thing squealed like a pig as soon as I started turning the volume up on my 100w plexi... didn't seem to matter how I set the levels on the FX in the loop.
I sent it back to Fryette... they said there was nothing wrong with it, so it is on its way back to me. Be curious to know others results.

Shoulda tried a rackmount PA kinda EQ in it and I bet the planets woulda aligned
You may even had too much output gain on the tsr too-did you check?
