My plexi 12267 has the same specs apart from the 100k NFB. My amp has the 47k on the 4 ohm tap. It's an all original red dye amp, so there must have been a few of that spec back in the day.Ruben wrote:bmf5150 wrote:These specs George ???

'Master Keeper's' amp is shown over at AmpArchives.com in the Super Lead section. His OT is the standard Dagnall C1998.

Did you relace all the wire with 7/30 22awg?

Re: George saw Ed's amp? Spill some beans Mr. Velvet!
Anyone on the iron as we speak doin some tweaking in this direction? I do wanna know what these specs feel and sound like. I think this is gonna definitly clear up alot of smoke and wasted guess work now. We got some solid reference unlike when this all started so I can only imagine what the next month or two of clips will follow will be like. And the pickup chase is gonna narrow down too because of this. The variables are slowly becoming constants finally.

Since Ed's amp was a USA export it would have come with the internal little tag board for the voltage taps.Strat78 wrote:Dave, was the death cap still in place? Also, did the amp have a little tag board for the voltage taps?

Look at all those pretty Iskra's!!!
It appears that and additional cap (220-330) on V2a must have been a mod.
And, no 1 meg on the inputs, unless I'm not seeing it.

I noticed that as well Roger, having that 1 Meg to ground causes some of your signal to ground correct? With it's absence, you get everything from your guitar going into the input stage?
