I listened with one headphone in so I could hear yours...you seem to be getting lots of high overtones for some reason. Have you tried tuning to the record? Check out my post with my transcription of "Runnin' With the Devil" for the tuning... Can you post a clip with just you playing? It might be easier for those who don't have headphones handy...

Hey, I don't know if this thread's 100% dead or not lol, but here's my contribution to the thread! I did most of this with the EQ in my software because I didn't feel like losing my perfect mic placement lol! Also keep in mind my Les Paul is lacking super 70's, and has a Classic '57 Plus in the bridge. Enjoy!

Sounds good Sean...I think I like your JBL clip a little better. I tried Super 70s in my Destroyer and it came out sounding terrible, but that is because of my Mod 5 Marshall. In your set up the Super 70s will probably sound very close to what you have with the '57 Classics. These lower output pickups seem to work with the "Big Boy" stack set-ups but not so well with a Mod 5.
At the risk of sounding like an ass, please check out the TAB that I posted for "RWTD" for my take on the riff and let me know what you think.

I say that because everyone seems to play this deceptively simple riff completely differently!

Anything for our kids, I hear ya man !
Nice chops there bro, enjoyed hearing it .
I thought you had sold the Bray to get 'another' amp or something. There is always the thought of "Man, maybe I'll like this better".
