Another orange Rockstah amp?
This is one that he is trying to pass off as Rockstah Mod 5 that Mark did, its not!

He put "MODDED - Mark Abrahamian of Rockstah Amps- ROCKSTAH MOD 5 Spec mods. " " by Steve Moratto (Best Amp Tech in Canada)" on the ebay ad.

He printed off the "Rockstah Amplification" (trying to make it look like a sticker), from the header banner from Marks old website rockstahamps.com, he must of got it from: (https://archive.org/web/), an internet page archive.

I have talked to Jeff, Marks brother about this one already, there were never any stickers saying "Rockstah Mod 5" or "Rockstah Amplification" made.

On the amp that i purchased, it has paper (not a sticker) taped to the back of the chassis panel, that is the artwork (Rockstah Mod 5) that Mark was going to use but never got the stickers made before he passed.

He got the Mod 5 transformers and choke from Mercury Magnetics, yes they still sell them with the Rockstah Mod 5 stickers on them.

He is trying to use Marks name and "Rockstah Amplification" name to make someone overpay for a Rockett Retro amp modded by some guy Steve Moratto in Canada.

Sad, sad, sad....

They were done and tshirts too, I did all of his design stuff he just never got round to getting things to print.
He was a character always had too much on the go, it's great to see he hasn't been forgotten. They even put a RIP column in the UK's Classic Rock mag when he passed.

I emailed him this morning and asked if Mark modified the amp and I got this response:
Hello. YES! MODDED - Mark Abrahamian of Rockstah Amps- ROCKSTAH MOD 5 Spec mods. Replaced Heyboer Transformers with - Mercury Magnetic Rockstah Mod 5 Power Transformer (higher plate voltage), Output transformer & Choke. PPIMV, special capacitor, and resistor Installation. Mark Abrahamian basically modded the entire amp. I have emails & Pay Pal transaction to prove. This is ONE Heck of an amp. BEST EVH Brown Sound - VH -1 Tone EVER! Cheers.

Very cool Jape88,

If you still have a copy the design on your computer Jeff, Marks brother would really like to get a copy of them from you. Let me know and i will put you in touch with him.

How does it compare with my old purple amp you bought?

Hey Allen, I still have the purple one in my collection.
It's hard to compare because they are so different, your purple amp has the 4 preamp tubes and gets an INSANE off the Charts amount of gain that is so smooth and warm sounding, whereas the Orange amp has only the 3 preamp tubes and a lot less gain.

The Orange amp is very close to Mark's '79 2203 with a little more gain and sparkle.

You should come by and play them for yourself, shoot me an IM because I changed my number since the last time we talked.
