Yeah his #1 and Ralle's are two very nice sounding amps. I think he could keep his higher gain and retain a little more of his Marshall era sound by simply using el-34 tubes( They have less piercing more rounded high's, much more midrange complexity, and thier bottom end is a little less restricted or prominent) as opposed to those horrible 6l6's. ( they sound good for clean sound's to me) and to run 25 watter's in his cab's again. A little old with the new.
