Guitargeek EVH set-up

Supposes to be his '97 rig.
I just wondered if Ed actually used the Boss SD-1???

I have played an SD-1 for ten years until I got a vintage TS 808 which I think does a somewhat better job clean boosting my Superbass Plexi.
The SD-1 becomes slightly 'muddy' when playing low notes...
The SD-1 though is a great unit (especially the Japan-made ones).

From what I gathered from past readings, the Boss SD-1 was used to boost the signal going into the wah, and for nothing else.
