Actually that's from the infamous Oakland '81 show. 
I LOVE that tone.
The rest of that was originally from a documentary MTV did in '86 called Van Halen: Unleashed. Of course what you're seeing here ( the Rockumentary) was done around '88 or '89 because they mention two Van Hagar albums. Sammy looked like Ronald McDonald in those days.
