Guys, I got a nice offer in my weber atenuator and I'm considering to sell it, but I need it bc my amp is a non MV.
with the money I can buy 2 variacs and still have some extra $$ for some pups. Question is, tone-wise and safety-wise, do you think I should pull the trigger?

For practical purposes, do you play the current setup live? If yes, the 2 variac option is more work for setup.

Yeah, as Eric says, it probably depends on your playing situation. If you have to move around a lot and need varying levels of attenuation, stick with the attenuator. If you can leave the set up along, use the variacs.

Yes I have to vary bc I use the same rig at home and at gigs 
So I need bedroom levels for practice and rehersal/gig levels too.... Maybe I'll stick with the attenuator now and buy a variac later when I have $$$ to spend in gear
