Looks like what happened was he rightfully wouldn't divulge the mod Tommy did....and that's when things took a dive...So yep it appears the amp had a secret mod and obviously a good one .....notwithstanding he used 2 plexi's, a lineout, a Boss pedal used for it's buffing capability before an ep3 with serial numbers in the 3XXXX range and a modded power brake..proving stock plexi yes , for core tone , but another modded for EVH tone and all the trimmings...mix together and add some eq boost in the above typical speaker range and poof ...great tone.
What I took from the thread was a nice place to install an effects loop is at the cathode follower right before the tone stack...seeing as a buffer is already built in..good place for the infamous Jose zener clipper clamper master volume mod too.Just say'n...

Yes ...and I think plenty of people here know how too..it's been covered in past threads right down to the last nut and bolt...Mark Cameron was extremely helpful and practically trained amp builders on what to do...complete with data sheets.

Now he is a master amp builder.
