Just if anyone want to know, If you want the most fantastic sound from your JTM45
V1===tung sol 12ax7
V2===Genelex Gold lion 12ax7
V3===Shugang 12ax7-A under any any one of it's many names
steal them from stock amps most people throw them out
V4 & V5===Gold lion KT66
the first thing out of you mouth will be

The Bassman is almost equal to the JTM-45 in cleans, but I think the 2x12 Celestions is just a little more tonalisicous!

I personally don't understand the fascination with junk speakers (celestions and their quad-trillion copy cats)
I use EVM 12L for all my amps
