Nice! Do you have original speakers in yours? I have two of these also. One very clean with original speakers, the other beat to hell with blackbacks IIRC. I should bring them out of storage and take some pics.

I played the beat up one on the road for years. It always sounded punchy.

yeayea, BB's in these too. Both came with the original Eminence quad.
VG, I appreciate you turning me on to these. I really like them. As they are in my main rig.
I like these for the loud. In fact, theses become their own instrument when dimed. Some good old U.S.A.
Super Cool factor, as you pointed out too George, that it's designed as a "Top in a Bottom" or an A/B cab in one !
IOW A slant face in a bottom cab. How kool 'zz dat ? !
I am reminded now that you told me how you were on the road with it, along like a loyal dog;
and now, how you jammed on the beat up one and had been on the road with it for years
supports why I like these for the muscle.

M a n you got a good eye. Wait-a-minute...That almost reminds me of this guy in a movie when he uses this Esper photo enhancing machine thingy to look around corners & doors and see what's reflecting in the mirror kinda thing...

Talk about a one man band!!! You gotta be over 6 feet tall to turn the amp on!!!

I can here that stack from here!!

Where did you get those organs? Some of those sound really cool. I've played one of the old double foot pumps before. Phantom of the Opera.
I've had my full stack set up a few times . I don't know why I take it down because I think it sounds better than the one cab. Perhaps being found under it in a freak accident is a deterrent.

Keep an eye on the Avalanche this year JJ....my boy MacKinnon is down there now.

I've tried to get my hands on a red goal light for years.

Hey Jimi, I pulled my Big M cabs out of storage today. I'm trying to consolidate everything into one unit. The one I played for years is BEAT! The other one is nearly mint, except for fading and discoloration.

The only Big M cabs I've ever seen are the german made ones. And they are sheer crap, build-wise. Really nasty things. Streets apart from those.
So I like purple, okay!!!!!!

Kool George !
ha ! I recognize the one you had in the garage on the side. Wow, that other one is mint !
Do you still have the original Eminence ? Did the replacement Quad of Celestion's make it through all your touring & gig's ?

demonufo, are the German made ones prior to these American made ones ? I was under the knowledge that these were only for U.S.A.

The mint one has the original Eminence. The beat to hell one has 3 blackbacks IIRC. And one reconed greenback, I think that was fixed a few times.

Just noticed the logo. I assume that was added for stage coolness as a cosmetic factor ? I can see the sun discoloration where the Big M should be.

It came to me with the logo. It was years later that I realized what it actually was, after reading the Marshall book.

They seem right at home in the shop. Should be warmed up enough now that I can play them. I'll see if I still hate the Eminence in the cleaner cab.
