Hi All
Learning how to do clips with my camcorder at the moment and thought I'd take the opportunity to do a compare between my 2x12 cab with G12-65 and 4x12 with the Celestion G12C Greenbacks from the Vintage Modern / Hendrix cabs.

Actually very surprised with the results as I was quite sure I preferred the G12-65 but that was with my Peavey JSX. I do think the Camcorder is getting a better hit of the G12C as I think there is a G12C pointing directly at the camera Mic, which might be colouring things but certainly the G12C sounds more 'rock' whereas the G12-65 is coming up a bit 'scooped', like a G12H sounds like.
Interesting. I am going to rerecord this at some point with the camcorder right in front of each cab, just to check. Dammit....I was really happy with the G12-65 until now! LOL!
In real life, the G12-65 have a touch more bottom end and are a bit fuller sounding, whereas the G12C can get quite raspy and thin to the point where it feels like someone added a fuzzy distortion to your sound.
